Will not maintain battery charge

The Netgear Aircard 815S, aka the AT&T Unite Explore has an annoying problem.
After it charges the battery it stops charging and then the battery dies after about 2 hours (no where near the claims they make) and won't charge again unless you unplug it and plug it back in. So you have to unplug it and plug it back in at least once a day. We have gotten replacement unit, battery, and charger. Each time we speak with AT&T they are supposed to ship us everything, but they only ship 1 item, and we try it to see if it fixes the problem, which it doesn't. I guess it's an issue with overheating according to the other review. Going to try to keep it cooler somehow. Ridiculous. Better off with older Unite model than this supposedly rugged model.
